Gigantic horse head statue spotted in Liverpool

By Eamonn Lavery

Liverpool's Baltic Triangle never fails to surprise. And when Bay TV spotted a 30 foot horse's head being carefully winched out of one of the area's many warehouse buildings, it took us a little while to figure out quite what was going on.

The Castle Fine Arts Foundry have been present in the Baltic Triangle for 12 months, and this bronze statue, on its way to a race course in Philadelphia, was the largest piece they have ever produced - and, given the size of the doors, they couldn't really make one much larger!
