Interview: Ex-Everton star Kevin KilbaneBy Eamonn Lavery
Ex-Everton and Ireland midfielder Kevin Kilbane took time to sit down with Bay TV and answer a few of our questions about his former club's season.
The winger, fondly nicknamed by fans as "Zinedine" Kilbane, will be meeting and greeting Blues fans at Goodison this weekend before the match with Reading. It is a key match for the Toffees, who will be looking to put a few slightly disappointing results behind them and get three points from a match they will be expected to win.
Kevin speaks to us about how the current squad shape up to the 2004/05 team, who finished in the Top 4 -and that he was a key part of. He said that progressing in the FA Cup should not distract the team or the manager from pushing for a top four finish this year. He did say, however, that uncertainty surrounding manager David Moyes' future may prove a slight distraction for the team and the fans. He praised Everton's new left side partnership of Leighton Baines and Steven Pienaar.
