Iconic ex-Granada TV building renamed after Martin Luther King Jr

By Eamonn Lavery

The Dock Traffic Office (better known as the old Granada Building) at the Albert Dock has been re-named The Dr Martin Luther King Jr Building in tribute to the civil rights leader who was one of the driving forces for tackling racism and inequality in America in the 1960s.

The Dock Traffic Office is set to become an expansion of the International Slavery Museum.
