Cllr Tony Concepcion reflects on his past 12 months as Lord Mayor

Liverpool has a new Lord Mayor who will be sworn into office today at the city’s Town Hall. Councillor Roz Gladden has served on the city council since 2003 and has held the post of deputy mayor as well as cabinet member for adult social care and health.

Roz takes up the role from outgoing Lord Mayor Councillor Tony Concepcion. We caught up with him at Liverpool Town Hall as he reflected on his past 12 months in office.
